Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08

1. Overview

BulkPicConv ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at bulkpicconv.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service. We are committed to privacy-first image processing β€” the core conversion tool runs entirely in your browser, and your images are never uploaded to our servers.

2. Local Processing β€” Your Images Stay on Your Device

All image conversion, compression, resizing, and filtering happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly technology. Your image files are never uploaded to our servers and are never stored by us. The WebAssembly code (libwebp, libavif) runs client-side, meaning your photos, screenshots, and graphics remain 100% on your device throughout the entire process.

This architecture ensures that even sensitive or confidential images can be processed safely β€” no network transfer, no third-party access, no server-side storage.

3. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:

  • Email address β€” collected only when you create an account or make a purchase, used for account management and billing communication.
  • Order metadata β€” transaction amount, plan type, license key, and purchase date, stored for billing records.
  • Anonymous device fingerprint β€” a non-identifiable hash used solely to validate your license token. This does not track browsing behavior.

We do not collect or store your images, browsing history, IP-based location profiles, or personal identity beyond what is necessary for billing.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We never receive or store your credit card numbers, bank details, or PayPal credentials. PCI compliance is handled entirely by the payment providers, both of which meet PCI DSS Level 1 standards.

Your payment provider may have their own privacy policies governing the data they collect. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy and PayPal's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use the following categories of cookies and local storage:

  • Essential cookies β€” locale preference (language setting), authentication token for logged-in users. These are required for the site to function.
  • Local storage β€” your license token and conversion preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
  • Advertising cookies β€” Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Affiliate tracking cookies β€” when you arrive via an affiliate referral link, we set a cookie to track the referral. This cookie is used solely to credit the affiliate and does not track your browsing activity across other sites.

We do not use tracking pixels, social media retargeting pixels, or analytics fingerprinting without your explicit consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The following third-party services are used to operate BulkPicConv:

  • Cloudflare β€” CDN and DDoS protection. May collect IP addresses for security purposes. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense β€” Displays advertisements. May use cookies and web beacons. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe / PayPal β€” Payment processing. See their respective privacy policies above.
  • Sentry β€” Error monitoring (if enabled). Captures error logs to help us fix bugs. Does not capture image data.

7. Data Retention

Account and license data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion request. Billing records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years). You can request data export or deletion at any time by contacting us.

  • Right to erasure β€” request deletion of your account and personal data.
